SEED SPEAKING/PLANTING WORDS

Seed speaking/planting words matter. Now it is 7-1-2020 and time gets away from me and I can’t say (when I am having fun)–at least not right now. Only I should say it/plant it, as in Seed Speaking. The whole COVID-19 thing has everyone on edge and has put a big cloud in the year 2020.

I will say that now more than ever it is important to watch our words, the seeds we sow. We might not think we are damaging ourselves or anyone else but a simple play on words can cause much pain and even bring worse consequences.

I know not everyone agrees with me that simple words matter and that is your right. Many members of my own family and close circle do not get it. I had to re-train myself not to say silly and negative things about myself or others when they were just every day things I said.

If you stop to think about it though, even if you do not believe in the words of the BIBLE, as I do, you will realize that silly words do matter.

Words matter because they can make you a victim in other people’s minds and in your own. Without you even being aware. We are not victims unless we choose to see ourselves that way. So seed speaking/ planting words matters.

OK, I am sure some will argue with me on that point, and believe me I have worked with victims of Domestic Violence so I know the points to argue. https://www.thehotline.org/ or call this number if you feel you will be tracked on your computer. 1-800-799-7233 or 1-800-787-3224 (TTY)

I am not talking about actual physical abuse in this blog. Emotional and verbal abuse are still part of Domestic Violence. If you are experiencing any abuse please get in touch with someone who can help you! It is NOT YOUR FAULT.

However, we can take a look at how our words, the seeds we plant affect us in many ways. Just simple self-talk first thing in the morning can push our day in many ways. The seeds/words we say to our children or our spouse can make or break their day right from the start.

We can see ourselves as victims or we can take a different attitude and realize not everything is going to go my way. BUT it is in how I look at it that matters. It is what I say to myself and about myself that defines WHO I am.

I can choose to start my day thinking of a beautiful sunrise, that fills me with gladness or I can look for the clouds that might bring rain. Even if there is rain how you look at and speak about that rain is your choice. It can make or break a day right from the start.

I can see myself as a victim or I can accept what is happening in my life. I make the choice to sit it out or do something about it. It is my choice. I am responsible for my own response, no one else. It comes in my words/seeds.
