Every day of our lives we do and say things that plant seeds. We are all Seed Speakers. Seeds of joy, peace, laughter or seeds of anger, guilt, even hate.
I have to add here that many times the seeds we plant are not what we really intended. They come from things that unfortunately we have been taught by others. Many of us were raised in a home that had alcohol or drug use: https://al-anon.org/al-anon-meetings/electronic-meetings/ Please visit this website to get help and encouragement. We actually start planting seeds in life from the moment we are born. As babies, we each have our own unique and different personalities. We are happy babies or babies that cry a lot or scream. So from the start, we plant little seeds on how people react to us or think of us.
Most of us go through our lives without really thinking about this. Do you think about this, I know I didn’t think about it much until lately? I happened to listen to a teaching from Jesus on God’s word being planted: LUKE 8: 5-15
This has to do with the hearing, teaching of God’s Word but it made me stop to think about seeds that we plant every day with our just plain words.
Whether you are a believer, like I am, or not we all speak words every day and they are planted in other people’s minds, hearts, souls. The question came to me: Do I plant good or bad seeds in others and in myself?
So me being who I am, I choose to pray about this. I asked God to explain this to me and tell me what He wanted me to do about it. You could say the Seed was planted.
Thus SEEDSPEAKERS. COM was born. Well kind of. It started out just SEEDSPEAKER.COM and I did build a website but then I let it go and could not get it back, I had to add the S.
I am definitely not a whiz at this, in fact pretty much self-taught on the website building. So I am sure all of you who do this kind of thing can see that. I am happy with myself thou that I stuck with it and am going forward. There have been plenty of days when I did not think I could. Do computers fly? Because I really wanted to give mine a good toss and see how far it would make it some days.
However, I listened to what God showed me in my prayer time and struggled forward. Now I will continue this journey on learning to be a GOOD seed speaker to myself and others.
